Are you a senior in need of community service hours? Stop by and see Coach Coleman ([email protected]). His office is located in the main hallway between the main office and counseling office. There are a ton of opportunities with our athletic, fine arts, and academic activities. Help is ALWAYS needed! This is a great way to earn service hours and support the Knights!

The Salvation Army is always looking for people who would be willing to volunteer some of their time to help sort and organize food along with other jobs. This is a great opportunity for seniors who need more community service hours or families/individuals who are looking for ways to help out in the community. A minor aged 14 and 15 who is interested in employment should first look for a job and have PROMISE of employment. This means that you already have a job lined up. Once an employer has offered you a job, you will begin the process for a work permit.
- You will complete the online form. A unique number will be emailed to the email listed in their portion of the form. You will need to share that number with your parent/guardian and employer. Parent/guardian and employer will each submit the required forms online--the same link the student used.
- Once all three sections are completed, the certificate is usually issued within 24 hours.
- It should be emailed to the employer and the employee. Be sure to be checking the email you listed in your online form. You may also need to check your spam folder, too.

Are you a current high school sophomore or junior? Do you have a solid academic background? Demonstrate leadership at school or in the community through participation in extra-curricular, community service, or athletic activities? Do you identify as African American? There is no application deadline. Students are accepted and served throughout the school year. Students and parents will receive a notification decision by mail and email within two to three weeks after submitting a complete application.

The Congress-Bundestag Vocational Exchange Program provides an opportunity for current high school students ages 15-18.5 to spend the year abroad pursuing their vocational interests. If selected, the student will live with a host family and attend a German school. Click on the graphic to learn more or to apply. To be eligible, you must:
- *be a U.S. citizen
- *be between the ages of 15 years and 18 years and 6 months on August 1 of the program departure year
- *A current high school student at the time of application, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

The U.S. Senate Page Program allows students a unique opportunity to learn about Congress while continuing with their coursework. Senator Warner nominates one student in the fall and one in the spring. Qualified candidates must be willing and able to leave their school and all extracurricular activities for the fall or spring semester of their junior year to come live in the Webster Hall Page dorm and attend the Page school. To be considered you must: be a junior, be 16 or 17 years old on or before the date of appointment, have a minimum gpa of 3.0, be a citizen of the U.S. or subject to agreements of the Department of State and have a social security number, and provide a certification of immunization, as well as, a general health assessment completed by a licensed physician.
